An international group with a local heart
For 35+ years, we have looked after the everyday in workplaces, schools, and care settings across Central and Eastern Europe. We take care of the food, the spaces, and the people who use them.
We exist to make everyday life genuinely better, in every workplace, school, and space we are part of.
DeliGroup is the leading independent catering and facility services group in Central and Eastern Europe. We bring together thousands of employees across hundreds of locations in Czechia, Hungary, Romania and Slovakia.
We are large enough to hold the standard, and close enough to know each market well. Every day, we serve hundreds of thousands of people: workers in factories, employees in offices, patients in hospitals, children in schools and students in universities.

The strength of the whole group, behind every site
Being one group is the advantage. International scale means shared resources, shared standards, knowledge that moves between markets, and the financial stability of a regional leader, so every local team is backed by the whole of DeliGroup.
Our story
Our story began in the early 1990s, when the businesses that form DeliGroup today entered Central and Eastern Europe as part of Compass Group.
Over the following three decades, we expanded across Czechia, Hungary, Romania and Slovakia, entering new sectors and building strong local organisations in workplace catering, education, healthcare and facility services.
In 2022, following Compass Group’s exit from Central and Eastern Europe, the regional businesses became independently owned and operated. This opened a new chapter: building a strong, independent service group dedicated to the region.
Today, DeliGroup brings these businesses together under one regional identity, combining 35+ years of local market experience with the scale, capabilities and ambition to continue growing across Central and Eastern Europe.
1991 Entering Czechia and Slovakia
The business enters the Czech and Slovak workplace catering markets under Compass Group and the Eurest brand.
1992 Entering Hungary
Operations expand into Hungary, establishing a strong presence in workplace catering and the foundations of a long-term local business.
1994 Expanding into education
The business enters the Czech education catering market under the Scholarest brand, adding schools and students to the communities it serves.
2001 Entering Romania
Operations expand into Romania, creating a fourth core market in Central and Eastern Europe.
2002 Entering healthcare
The business expands into healthcare catering in Hungary, broadening its activities beyond workplace and education services.
2010 Moving beyond catering
The company enters support and facility services in Romania, beginning the development of a broader integrated services offering.
2022 Becoming independent
Following Compass Group’s exit from Central and Eastern Europe, the regional businesses become independently owned and operated by CEE Catering HoldCo, opening a new chapter focused entirely on the CEE region.
2023 Building a new regional identity
Delirest, Primirest and Deliservices are established as the group’s core brands, creating clearer identities across workplace catering, education and facility services.
2024 Passing €200 million in revenue

2026 A new identity for the group
CEE Catering HoldCo is rebranded as DeliGroup, creating a stronger regional identity that brings the group’s businesses and brands together under one name and reflects its next stage of growth across Central and Eastern Europe.
Our leadership
Our group is led by two managing directors and a country executive team running operations across our four markets, backed by group leaders in HR & compliance, sales, and IT.

What we stand for

1. Safety first, always
The safety of the people we serve and the people who work for us is non-negotiable, in everything we do. We don't treat health and safety as a box to tick. It's the foundation everything else is built on.
2. Continuous improvement
Good enough isn't good enough. Every service is a chance to do the next one better. We don't rest on our track record; we use it as the bar to beat. That means staying curious about new methods and tools, and being willing to change the way we work when something better comes along.
3. People at the heart
We care for our people and they care for our guests. Our employees are the real value and strength of this company. We build a workplace where everyone is treated with fairness, respect, and trust, where leadership is built on listening and empathy, and where contribution is seen and recognised.
4. Honesty and accountability
Our industry-leading compliance standards give our partners peace of mind. No hidden terms, no shortcuts, no politics, zero-tolerance for corruption. We're straight with clients, with suppliers, and with each other. We say what we'll do, we do it, and when we get something wrong we own it. That's what makes a partnership last.
5. Responsible operations
We pay attention to the mark we leave: on the communities we work in, on the environment, and on the suppliers we depend on. In practice that means cutting food waste, buying local where it makes sense, and treating our place in each community as something worth protecting. We're working toward a way of operating we'd happily explain to anyone.
What we commit to
The technology behind better dining
From mobile apps and smart displays to AI self-checkout and food-waste analytics, we put practical technology to work across our restaurants, so everyday dining is more convenient, more informed and more sustainable.
